Casa Cosmo is a family-owned holiday home, thoughtfully created for guests who value comfort, quality, and effortless relaxation.

The owners manage a portfolio of Airbnb rentals and have poured years of hosting experience into designing Casa Cosmo — carefully considering every detail that makes a stay truly enjoyable. From layout to finishes, the home has been designed to feel both luxurious and welcoming.

Each bedroom features a private en-suite bathroom, offering comfort and privacy for families, couples, and groups. The home includes high-end finishes and décor throughout, creating a refined yet relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Guests can fully switch off knowing a dedicated housekeeper is on hand, allowing you to focus on rest, time together, and making memories.

Casa Cosmo boasts a heated pool, is within walking distance to the beach, and is located in the secure and scenic Shelley Point Estate — perfect for peaceful seaside living with modern convenience.

Whether you’re planning a quiet escape or a special family break, Casa Cosmo offers a stay where everything has been thoughtfully taken care of.

Geting to Shelley Point

Shelley Point is conveniently located approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Cape Town.

From Cape Town International Airport

1. Exit the airport via Airport Approach Road and join the N2 (Settlers Way) towards the city.
2. Take the M7 exit towards Epping (Jakes Gerwel Drive).
3. Continue straight as the road becomes the N7 towards Malmesbury.
4. Turn left onto the M19 in the direction of Melkbosstrand.
5. Turn right at the four-way traffic lights onto the R27 (West Coast Road).
6. Continue on the R27 and follow the directions below.

From Cape Town (City / Table View)

1. Take the R27 (West Coast Road) from Table View and continue for approximately 110 km.
2. Turn left at the Vredenburg sign.
3. At the first four-way stop in Vredenburg, turn right onto Velddrif Road.
4. Continue out of Vredenburg for about 10 km, then turn left at the St Helena Bay / Stompneus Bay sign (you’ll see a large Shelley Point billboard).
5. Continue for approximately 17 km, then turn left at the Shelley Point signs, just before the De Agterbaaier supermarket, after passing through Stompneus village.
6. Take the first right turn towards Shelley Point.

    The famous Golden Mile offers a spectacular 10km stretch of uninterrupted beach, perfect for long walks and sunsets, while another beach is just steps away from the home for quick dips and relaxed seaside time.

    The estate features a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar area, ideal for easy meals, sundowners, and socialising.

  • Tennis courts:
    Tennis courts are available to book via the clubhouse for guests who enjoy staying active during their stay.

  • Golf:

  • Running & walking trails:
    Shelley Point offers dedicated hiking and jogging trails, perfect for morning or sunset exercise.

  • Cycling:
    Explore the estate and surrounding area by bicycle at your own pace.

    Catch the waves just outside the house — body boards are provided for guest use.

  • Stand-up paddle boarding:
    Calm coastal conditions make this a great option along the shoreline.

  • Kayaking:

  • Surfing:
    Well-known local surf spots are nearby. Experienced surfers can take on “Heaven”, a popular big wave at the end of the beach.

  • Kitesurfing:
    When the South-Easter wind picks up, the area becomes ideal for kitesurfing enthusiasts.

  • Horse riding:
    Enjoy an organised beach ride with Oliphantskop Horse Trails (+27 22 772 2326).

  • Hopefield (±25 min):
    A lively small town with a relaxed atmosphere, dotted with independent coffee shops and a popular Saturday farmers’ market. Hopefield is also home to Simply Bee, offering natural bee products and a fascinating view into a working beehive.

  • Saldanha Bay (±25 min):
    Visit the North Head Lighthouse for sweeping coastal views or enjoy outdoor adventure on the Saldanha Mountain Bike Trail.
